Shelves should not orphan files open for add.

When reverting a shelf, p4v should prompt (and p4 should have a command line switch) to remove files opened for add in the shelf. The current behavior is to leave writable files on the machine. This in turn causes clobber errors later when syncing the change that was shelved (after it has been committed).

P4 revert has -w now, but P4V doesn't appear to an expose a way to trigger it on shelve.
